Install an extension

Before you start

Download the Extension ZIP from the Product Listing and keep it zipped. A Product may contain several Extensions; upload each ZIP. Follow any Product-specific install notes for its Qlik App, Demo App or Load Script.

You need permission to manage Extensions. Ask your Qlik administrator if you cannot access the pages below.

Qlik Cloud

1. Open the Administration activity center and choose Extensions.
2. Choose Add, then browse for the Extension ZIP or drop it into the upload area.
3. Check that the Extension appears in the list.

For an update, open the existing Extension's menu, choose Edit, replace the ZIP and save.

Client-managed Qlik Sense

1. Open the Qlik Management Console (QMC) with an account allowed to import Extensions.
2. Choose Extensions, then Import.
3. Select the Extension ZIP and choose Import. Check that it appears in the overview.

When updating an existing Extension, confirm Replace to install the new files.

Add it to a sheet

1. Open an app in Qlik and edit a sheet.
2. Find the installed Extension in the assets panel and drag it onto the sheet.
3. Use the Product's docs to configure dimensions, measures and settings.
