Notices and limits
A notice line under the chart states when the chart shows less than the full result. The chart loads at most 20,000 rows.
- Violin, Raincloud, and Beeswarm show the largest 40 groups, or the groups that fit the object.
- Raincloud shows the rain as binned marks above 5,000 raw observations. The cloud and the box still use every row.
- Dot histogram states how many observations it does not draw when a stack is taller than the plot.
A state panel replaces the chart when the selection has no rows, a required role has no field, or the object cannot show every row. A row without a finite Value is not drawn.
