Selection
A click on a mark makes a Qlik selection. Qlik shows its selection toolbar. Confirm or cancel the selection there, or press Esc.
- A violin selects the Category and Group values of that violin.
- A rain dot or a beeswarm dot selects that Observation value.
- A dot histogram dot selects its Observation. A non-empty bin selects the Observation values in that range. A category label selects that Category.
- An ECDF curve selects the Category and Group values of that curve.
An exact observation selection needs a mapped Observation. A selection of a population needs a mapped Category or Group. When a selection is not available, the chart states why. A value range on the axis is not a selection. Press Tab to move focus into the chart, and press Enter or Space to select.
